LEAD Application

Course information

i2i LEAD development programme is designed for senior and specialist pharmacists leading teams and implementing service change to improve patient outcomes resulting in evaluation and case study of meaningful service-change implementation.

This programme will provide you with the leadership and practical skills, methodology and support to enable the delivery of improving high-quality care, as well as upskilling and empowering your team with the same vision and goal.

A combination of interactive workshops, tools and resources, and the application of your learnings to a live project of your choice, will enable you to demonstrate key outcomes towards the end of the programme and your project. Examples may include the release of clinical and non-clinical capacity, service pathway or process improvement, increase in team capability, data analysis and benefits realisation. You will be supported through facilitated discussions on getting project buy-in from key stakeholders, effective project mobilisation, tackling challenges and addressing any bottlenecks.

Your project should be scalable and provide better patient outcomes, be relevant to current NHS priorities and demonstrate some outcomes within a timeline.

This cohort of applicants will have a focus on service redesign and implementation for either rheumatology, dermatology, bone health and systems leadership/interface.
