Diabetes: managing injectables in type 2 diabetes mellitus

The i2i network is delighted to be launching this new programme in recognition of the fact that clinical pharmacists are taking on management of more complex patients with type 2 diabetes. This programme has been designed to equip you to competently manage injectable therapies with an emphasis on doing so virtually.

This programme is funded by Novo Nordisk.

Novo Nordisk has not had any input into the content or involvement in the creation of these materials. All materials have been developed independently by Soar Beyond and the i2i Network Faculty. (www.i2ipharmacists.co.uk/our-faculty). Soar Beyond owns all intellectual property rights for the resources and training and retains editorial rights at all times.

The intended audience is pharmacists working in general practice wanting to manage injectable therapies for patients with type 2 diabetes. This is to be used as a guide only and should be used to augment local guidelines or pathways. Pharmacists are encouraged to link with a GP prescribing/diabetes lead for supervision and mentorship to support clinical competence.
