Psoriasis & Eczema Workshop

Empowering clinical pharmacists to manage psoriasis & eczema effectively and improve outcomes for patients

Our interactive workshops will combine expert speakers and sharing of best practice by our clinical pharmacist facilitators who are conducting psoriasis & eczema services in their own practices.

The i2i Network has been comissioned by LEO Pharma to deliver these workshops which have been entirely initiated and funded by LEO Pharma.

Dr Siobhan McEntee

With over 20 years’ experience in dermatology and cosmetic medicine, Dr. McEntee is well-respected in the field of dermatology and is involved in teaching GP Registrars in Belfast and Antrim GPs on Dermatology and has been instrumental in developing local pathways.

The workshop will focus on ‘insight’ in the morning and on ‘implementation’ in the afternoon. The day has been structured to allow plenty of networking time and activities.

Morning (09:30 - 13:00)

Our experts will be delivering an insight on the clinical update on guidelines and treatment and management of psoriasis and eczema

Their engaging presentations will cover:

A clinical update on the guidelines and treatments of psoriasis and eczema in primary care

A clinical perspective and review of effective management of psoriasis and eczema in primary care

Afternoon (14:00 - 17:00)

The interactive afternoon session is focussed on implementation and allows you to put your learning from the morning insight into practice

The interactive sessions will cover:

Top tips and advice from a pharmacist perspective on patient types, DLQI scoring and counselling

Smaller illustrative patient case examples facilitated by fellow practice pharmacists who are already supporting the effective management of psoriasis and eczema
