Cardiovascular, renal and metabolic disease management

The opportunity for GP pharmacists to implement integrated cardiovascular, renal and metabolic disease management

Date: 7th December 2021

Cost: Free

Virtual Workshop 20:00-21:30

This webinar has been sponsored by AstraZeneca. AstraZeneca has had no involvement in the programme format or content, which is under the editorial control of Soar Beyond and the i2i Network faculty.

The i2i network is delighted to bring to you a brand-new webinar on cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic (CVRM) disease.

CVRM is a concept and term which is now being used more in primary care to cover the inter-relation between metabolism, heart failure, and kidney disease. Shared risk factors for CVRM are often not diagnosed or addressed and science suggests that by considering common mechanisms of CVRM disease, we can improve outcomes in patients with one specific diagnosis before co-morbidities emerge. This webinar is bespoke for GP Clinical Pharmacists and will provide a robust clinical update covering the latest data, guidance and treatments in CVRM and clinical case-studies. Hear from our expert speakers Vicky Ruszala, specialist pharmacist in cardiology and heart failure at North Bristol NHS Trust and Patrick Durant, clinical pharmacist and partner at Bridge Medical practice in South Bristol.
