Our interactive workshops will combine expert speakers and sharing of best practice by our clinical pharmacist facilitators who are conducting Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus related services in their own practices.
Napp Pharmacueticals Limited have funded the development of the resources. They have had no input into the content of the meeting materials and have reviewed them for technical accuracy and compliance to ABIP Code of Practice.

Dr Naveed Younis (BSc, MD, FRCP) qualified from Manchester University in 1993 and trained in the North West. Dr Younis has been a Consultant Physician at Manchester University Foundation Trust since 2004 and is currently the clinical lead. He leads on diabetic foot and renal diabetes in South Manchester. He has vast clinical experience in managing complex patients with diabetes.
Read BioZeshan is a Practice-based Clinical Pharmacist working across Manchester. He is a prescribing pharmacist and plays a key role in the management of patients with long-term conditions such as Diabetes.
Read BioThe workshop will focus on ‘insight’ in the morning and on ‘implementation’ the afternoon. The day has been structured to allow plenty of networking time and activities.
Familiarisation with the use of practical tools and templates for practice pharmacists including clinical systems resources
Case Studies on helping practice pharmacists to manage change and effectively implement diabetes clinics using the i2i change resources and structure
