Ines is a member of the UKCPA Diabetes and Endocrinology Committee and an active non-medical prescriber within the Diabetes MDT responsible for providing holistic complex care reviews and for championing medicines optimisation. She also leads on actively supporting diabetes-related governance and upholding insulin stewardship by being a member of the local Insulin Safety Board. As a true advocate of higher education, Ines has been highly involved in peer and MDT training and she is currently a specialist visiting lecturer at the University of Manchester, Sheffield Hallam University and University of Bradford. She has also been enrolled as part of the assessment team for the pilot of the Royal College of Physicians Inpatient Diabetes Care Accreditation Programme, aiming to promote improvement through highlighting areas of best practice and areas for change.
