Her scientific work has focused on heart failure, and the new techniques of gene and cell therapy. Sian was Special Advisor to the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee on Regenerative Medicine.
Sian is an expert on Broken Heart Syndrome, and its special relevance to post-menopausal women.
