Anjan has a passion for luminal gastroenterology and specialises in inflammatory bowel disease and advanced therapeutic endoscopy. Originally coming to the UK on a Commonwealth fellowship to Oxford, he now serves as a Consultant at County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust and a Reader in Medicine at Durham University.
