#GPPharmacists, are you aware of the changes to the asthma action plan advice?

Following our successful asthma workshop 2 yesterday from our key speaker Dr Mark Levy, we learned that the asthma action plan advice has changed, and it is more specific and safer for asthma suffers!

In the middle section titled “When i feel worse” the advice to patients now states:

“URGENT! If you need your reliever inhaler more than every four hours, you’re having an asthma attack and you need to take emergency action now.”

#GPPharmacists make sure that you download the up to date action plan from the asthma.org.uk website below and update your templates that you use in practice now!
