Digital and Business Transformation Manager

Steve is an accomplished leader in primary care with a strong track record of innovation, service transformation, and workforce development, learned over the past 25 years. As a senior manager within the Bestwood and Sherwood Primary Care Network (PCN) and a key figure within NCGPA, Steven leads a multidisciplinary team of over 30 staff, including clinical pharmacists, nurse associates, social prescribers, care coordinators, and physician associates.

Passionate about reducing health inequalities and improving access, Steve has updated, designed and implemented award-winning models of care, most notably the Community Health and Wellbeing Hub, which won national recognition for its impact on disease prevention. He is also leading the rollout of a digital inclusion programme to address barriers to health technology in underserved populations.

Steve is currently completing the NHS Rosalind Franklin Leadership Programme, where his integration project focuses on scaling innovative models across PCNs. With a background in strategic system leadership, he is skilled at bringing together diverse partners to drive meaningful change, empower communities, and deliver person-centred care.

He is committed to building inclusive teams, developing emerging leaders, and championing the role of Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) professionals in transforming primary care delivery.
