Layla is a PCN lead pharmacist, working in Walkden and Little Hulton in Salford. Layla has a specialist interest in optimising treatment for people with asthma and COPD. She is currently delivering a federated paediatric asthma clinic service on behalf of Walkden and little Hulton PCN. Layla has worked in a previous role as an integrated care respiratory pharmacist and brings specialist respiratory expertise to her patient facing primary care role by delivering asthma and COPD review clinics within general practice. Layla has extensive experience of providing at the point of care FENO testing in the diagnosis and optimising treatment of child and adult asthma, as well as initiating and optimising asthma treatment through MART.
