Kandarp is an experienced Chief Pharmacist and Clinical Director with a career spanning senior leadership roles in the UK and internationally. With a strong clinical background in acute medicine and antimicrobials, he has also held wider clinical leadership posts as Divisional Clinical Director across Surgery and Women & Children’s services.
He has also been a non-voting Board Member as Director of Integration & Transformation and contributes nationally through external appointments such as the Editorial Board of JOMO, the advisory board for CPC, the PM Academy and is also an ex-APPAG member.
Kandarp is particularly passionate about advancing pharmacy clinical leadership, driving workforce culture, and delivering sustained quality improvement.
Alongside maintaining his role as Chief Pharmacist and Clinical Director for Pharmacy & Medicines Optimisation at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, Kandarp has joined Soar Beyond Ltd as a Senior Associate to strengthen our services across all sectors of pharmacy, with a particular focus on secondary care development and quality improvement.
