Dr Neena Lakhani is a clinical pharmacist and an independent prescriber (management of mild to moderate asthma in adults in primary care). She is currently the lead pharmacist for research at a general practice in Leicestershire.
She has extensive experience of pharmacy education as former senior lecturer at the Leicester School of Pharmacy, DeMontfort University, and has been a practitioner in hospital, community and primary care settings. She has recently retired from DeMontfort University to focus on respiratory projects, services relating to primary care and community pharmacy , inter professional education and collaboration; and practice research.
She has a keen interest in working with South Asian minority ethnic communities.
She hopes to now further her pursuits to help pharmacy and MDT teams to make a meaningful impact for patients in our care in the community.
