Keynote Speaker: Denise Rosembert

Denise is a credentialed Consultant Pharmacist specialising in biologics and advanced therapies, with extensive experience delivering complex medicines optimisation across multiple specialties including gastroenterology, rheumatology, vasculitis, dermatology and ophthalmology. She previously served as Lead Pharmacist for Biologics and Homecare at Cambridge University Hospitals, where she worked as a key member of multidisciplinary teams and led multiprofessional colleagues to optimise biologic prescribing in complex patients, pharmacy homecare services and patient pathways.  She has led improvements in prescribing optimisation, digital workflow design and informatics, including development of Epic electronic health record systems as a certified Epic analyst. Her work has helped modernise clinical pathways and improve efficiency in high-cost medicines management.

Denise completed the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s Clinical Fellowship with the NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service.  In her most recent role as Assistant Director for Medicines Optimisation and Pharmacy Procurement at NHS London Procurement Partnership, she has led large-scale system programmes. Her work includes delivering a pan-London ophthalmology high-cost drug pathway and health economic model in collaboration with Integrated Care Boards and NHS trusts and transforming pharmacy procurement.

Denise has contributed to national medicines policy as a member of the NHS England Medicines Optimisation Clinical Reference Group and serves as a Medicines and Prescribing Associate with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). She is committed to developing the next generation of leaders and mentors fellows across programmes including the FMLM CPhO Clinical Fellowship, Commonwealth Pharmacists Association Fellowship and Royal Pharmaceutical Society Consultant Pharmacist Credentialing.
