Atif Saddiq

Atif Saddiq is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Digital Lead at the University of Bradford, where he leads the Online Independent Prescribing Programme and drives the integration of digital health across the MPharm curriculum. He is Chair of the UK-wide Schools of Pharmacy Digital Community of Practice, leading the development of a national Indicative Curriculum for Digital Health to support the education and training of future pharmacists.

Alongside his academic role, Atif practises as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner and Independent Prescribing Pharmacist in general practice, where he assesses, diagnoses and manages patients with acute and long-term conditions. He also serves as Clinical Research Lead for a Primary Care Network and Training Programme Director for Trainee Pharmacists at NHS England.

Atif is Co-Founder and Head of Education at Primary Healthcare Development/Pharmacy Foundations, a training and development organisation that supports current and aspiring healthcare professionals through innovative educational programmes, workforce development initiatives and career progression opportunities.

He holds an MPharm, Independent Prescribing qualification and MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). A recognised leader in pharmacy education, digital health and workforce development, Atif is an Expert Tutor for the Royal College of Pharmacy and former Chair of its Early Careers Pharmacists Advisory Group. His work focuses on preparing the healthcare workforce for the future of digitally enabled care.
