The Deputy chief pharmaceutical officer Bruce Warner warns that the NHS drugs bill could hit £20bn by 2021
Delegates at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence annual conference were told that the costs of drugs in secondary care are continuing to grow, while up to half of patients don’t take their medicines as intended.
