Dr. Emma Woodcock

IPC supports 46 practices who serve over 500,000 patients. She teaches and mentors the clinical pharmacist team for the federation, and has a special interest in supporting the new ARRS roles for the PCNs within the federation.

Dr Woodcock was the managing and senior partner of a rural practice in West Sussex for many years and was a GP trainer for a decade. She was also the Clinical Director for Rural North Chichester Primary Care Network for 4 years.

Dr Woodcock worked with Chichester District Council and other community partners to help set up the Chichester Locality Social Prescribing Service in 2018. She mentors social prescribers in Primary Care and is a member of the West Sussex Social Prescribing Strategy group.

Dr Woodcock’s clinical interests include frailty, end of life, women’s health, patient centred care and population health management. She is a faculty member of the National Association of Primary Care.

In her spare time, she enjoys walking in the beautiful South Downs National Park where she lives nearby with her cats, children and husband (in that order!).
