Ghazanfar Ali

Underpinned by a sound clinical grounding, his responsibilities include the provision of acute/long term condition management clinics, medicines optimisation, conducting audits, contributing to the clinical education of healthcare professionals and managing practice formularies to improve the choice and clinical effectiveness of medicines.

Ghazanfar has an avid interest in Diabetes, and has worked closely with healthcare professionals to develop and review current prescribing practice/formularies/pathways to improve clinical effectiveness. He is a passionate advocate for the diversification and expanding role of pharmacists within primary care.

Further to his role as a pharmacist, Ghazanfar is working as a clinical facilitator for the ‘Centre of Pharmacy Postgraduate Education’ and as a visiting lecturer at Wolverhampton University.
