Kayennat Toofany

She sees patients across all ages and for many conditions including cow milk protein allergy, fussy eating, disease related malnutrition, weight management, IBS, low FODMAP diet, diverticulosis as well as for end-of-life nutrition. She does not believe in barriers to access healthcare and works to challenge inequalities by empowering patients through education.

As a PCN dietitian, her role involves being a part of the frailty team and she has been involved in developing a frailty pathway. She believes it is up do the experts in their fields to assess whether a patient requires specialist support, and this should not be at the mercy of a poorly completed referral, thus she is audacious enough to run a dietetic service with no referral criteria which is truly patient centred.
