Maha is a Primary Care Pharmacist in Brighton with nearly three years’ experience in the role. Following completion of her pre-registration training, she worked as a relief pharmacist for one of the UK’s largest pharmacy chains before progressing to Pharmacist Manager, a role she held for eight years before moving into primary care.
She has developed a particular interest in respiratory care, especially asthma, and completed her postgraduate Independent Prescribing qualification with a focus on the treatment of adults with asthma. She has continued to build her expertise by shadowing respiratory consultants and attending webinars and face-to-face educational events. She applies this learning to strengthen the quality of her patient consultations, keep her practice aligned with current guidance and share relevant insights with colleagues.
