Rocco Hadland

Rocco was employed as a heart failure pharmacist within the multi-disciplinary North East Wales heart failure service in 2009, his role was to deliver care to heart failure patients across the interface between primary and secondary care with a remit to initiate and optimise evidence-based therapies as well as to provide patient education on medications, symptom monitoring and encourage self-care behaviour. In 2010 he became qualified as a non-medical prescriber.

Rocco completed his MSc in clinical pharmacy in 2015 – the research focused on community pharmacists identifying worsening heart failure symptoms. The findings of the research were presented as a poster at the World Heart Failure conference, Paris 2015.
