Roundtable discussions identified potential across the healthcare system to improve the care of people with mental health problems through better use of pharmacists and their teams. Because of their accessibility and expertise in medicines, pharmacists have the potential to act as advocates for all people with mental health problems. Primary and community-based care was felt to offer the greatest untapped potential for using the skills of pharmacists and their teams in supporting people with their mental health.
