What is the LEAD programme?

This exclusive leadership development programme is aimed at senior and specialist Band 7 pharmacists seeking to progress in their careers. Applications from other roles such as senior pharmacy technicians will be considered. This programme helps you develop transferable QI and leadership skills, apply them to your service, and advance your development as a pharmacy leader.

What is unique about the programme?

The programme uniquely combines core personal awareness tools like Insights Discovery® profiling with practical teaching by using tools such as 4D® QI / service change methodology, which can be applied to your own QI service initiatives. These service change and QI projects provide evidence to support your career advancement.

What is the time commitment and structure?

6 month programme
1 live event per month 2.5 hours (day)
The remaining time is flexible to your project needs

All sessions are 10:00-12:30

The six live virtual sessions are supported by e-learning and implementation resources with template tools such as fishbone root cause analysis, programme gant charts, risk mitigation and options appraisal tools.
