Amina Beenish is a PCN Clinical Pharmacist and Independent Prescriber at Woodsley and Holt Park PCN, with a particular interest in cardiovascular risk reduction and medicines optimisation.

As part of the 2026 CRM Clinical Champions cohort, she will present a poster on optimising lipid management in secondary prevention to improve treatment to target and reduce future cardiovascular risk.

She is committed to improving cardiovascular and renal outcomes through guideline-based care, multidisciplinary working and practical approaches that can be embedded into everyday primary care.

She has specialist expertise in Type 2 diabetes, cardio-renal-metabolic health and diabetes technology, with a strong focus on reducing health inequalities and improving patient outcomes. Previously, Rachel was Lead Pharmacist for Infectious Diseases at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. She is passionate about developing innovative pathways, transforming primary care and advancing the role of pharmacists in integrated care.

Atif Saddiq

Assistant Professor in Primary Care Pharmacy Practice & Digital Lead (MPharm)

Atif Saddiq is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Digital Lead at the University of Bradford, where he leads the Online Independent Prescribing Programme and drives the integration of digital health across the MPharm curriculum. He is Chair of the UK-wide Schools of Pharmacy Digital Community of Practice, leading the development of a national Indicative Curriculum for Digital Health to support the education and training of future pharmacists.

Harriet Hogge

Harriet runs The Inhaler Tailor with her husband Will. They developed fun & colourful cases to go over asthma & COPD inhalers after their goddaughter Martha refused to use her daily preventer inhaler and ended up in a coma. The cases have been recognised as a break-through by the NHS, with several projects underway to provide cases directly to vulnerable children. The brand has also been featured on Dragons’ Den and BBC Breakfast.

He is Urology Cancer Lead and Research Lead across Mid Yorkshire Teaching Hospitals and Barnsley Hospital, combining senior service leadership with clinical research, education and innovation. His principal subspecialist expertise is robotic renal and upper urinary tract surgery.
