What is the LEAD Programme?
This exclusive leadership development programme is aimed at clinical pharmacists at Band 7 and above seeking to progress in their careers. This programme helps you develop transferable Quality Improvement (QI) and leadership skills, apply them to your service, and advance your progression as a pharmacy leader.
The i2i LEAD programme has been designed by Soar Beyond with our clinical and change management expertise. The programme is delivered by our expert senior pharmacists and change management experts.
What is unique about the programme?
The programme uniquely combines core personal awareness tools like Insights Discovery® profiling with practical teaching of 4D® QI / service change methodology with a practical toolkit of downloadable resources. The tools will help you to implement and evidence your QI projects to support your career advancement.
Commitment
To successfully complete the programme you are expected to attend and complete the programme in full. Please note, there will be a module to complete per month, dates and times will be provided upon successful application.
The six live virtual sessions are supported by e-learning and implementation resources with template tools such as fishbone root cause analysis, programme Gantt charts, risk mitigation and options appraisal tools.
Eligibility Criteria
This is an application-only programme aimed at Band 7 and above for pharmacists in rheumatology, dermatology, neurology and bone health.
Your QI project will ideally cover one of the following:
Rheumatology, dermatology, neurology, or bone health
Improved patient access to biologics within the above areas
Your Project Should Be:
Drives better access and/ or outcomes
Patient–centred
Scalable
Relevant to current NHS priorities
Able to demonstrate some tangible service or patient improvements within 6 months
